Major Marine Repairs

Seafest is experienced in repairing and restoring severly damaged vessels for major marine insurers. Our secure factory facility can accommodate large vessels and projects and our proximity to a range of supporting trades and services ensures that all repair projects are turned around efficiently and rapidly.

Our recovery, repair and restoration experience includes:

• Vessels that have been damaged due to collision, grounding, submersion and fire
• Shoring up vessels to enable recovery and salvage
• Repairing tank ruptures, hull failures and osmosis damage
• Cutting openings to enable extraction of engines and other machinery
• Working with engineers to repair salvaged vessels
• Changing drive shaft angles, altering keels, repairs and re-building rudders

We also work with the Royal Australian Navy, assisting with the maintenance of supply and surveilence vessels.
